AGRICULTURE
Our Mission

Our mission is to organize funds and agricultural equipment through donations and grants to support the people of the old eastern region of Nigeria who are suffering from hunger and starvation. Our goal is to eliminate hunger and starvation by promoting mechanized farming techniques, ensuring food security, improving health conditions, and combating the effects of climate change such as erosion and drought.

Vision

Our vision is to revolutionize agriculture in the old eastern region of Nigeria, making it more efficient, accessible, and sustainable for farmers. We aim to provide them with the necessary tools and resources to practice modern farming techniques, increase agricultural productivity, and enhance food production. Additionally, we aspire to establish a comprehensive and accessible health center that caters to the healthcare needs of all individuals in the region.

By securing funds and agricultural equipment, we aim to empower farmers in the old eastern region of Nigeria to adopt mechanized farming practices. Through the use of modern agricultural technologies and equipment, we seek to enhance their farming capabilities, increase crop yields, and improve overall food security. By eliminating hunger and starvation, we can contribute to the well-being and development of the region’s inhabitants.

Furthermore, we recognize the pressing need to address environmental challenges caused by climate change. We will encourage the cultivation of plants and trees to combat erosion and drought. By promoting sustainable farming practices and environmental conservation, we aim to create a harmonious relationship between agriculture and the natural ecosystem.

In line with our vision, we are also committed to establishing a health center that caters to the healthcare needs of the region’s residents. This center will provide accessible and quality healthcare services, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to receive adequate medical care and improve their overall well-being.

Through collaborative efforts, donations, and grants, we strive to make a significant and lasting impact in the old eastern region of Nigeria. By fostering agricultural development, ensuring food security, addressing health challenges, and promoting environmental sustainability, we aim to uplift the lives of the people in the region and create a prosperous and resilient community.

HEALTHCARE

We are a group of Biafrans residing in Australia, representing the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) within the Australian community. Our primary objective is to peacefully and democratically advocate for the liberation of the people of Biafra who continue to experience human rights abuses and oppression in Nigeria.

One of the major challenges faced by our people in Biafra is the lack of adequate social services. Among these challenges, poor healthcare services and infrastructure are particularly prevalent. It is our aim to address these issues through the initiative we are undertaking.

The health indicators in Nigeria today further substantiate our concerns. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), health indicators in Nigeria are among the worst in Africa. This situation is compounded by the fact that Nigeria has one of the fastest-growing populations worldwide. Unfortunately, Nigeria still lacks a credible population census, and the figures provided by the Federal Bureau of Statistics are estimations that may remain so for a significant period. It is well-known that planning social services becomes extremely challenging, if not impossible, without accurate population data to target these services effectively.

Consider the following health indicators provided by the WHO:

  1. Maternal mortality rate: 814 deaths per 100,000 live births.
  2. Infant mortality rate: 70 deaths per 1,000 live births.
  3. Under-five mortality rate: 104 deaths per 1,000 children.
  4. Life expectancy: A mere 54 years from birth, reflecting the poor health infrastructure available to the citizens.

Our goal is to make a positive contribution by soliciting and applying for grants that can support our healthcare initiative aimed at improving the well-being of Biafrans within Nigeria. It is disheartening that Nigeria ranks 187th out of 195 countries in terms of health access quality. This ranking assesses the quality and accessibility of healthcare services based on frontline causes of mortality. Such a dismal performance further justifies our relentless pursuit of this initiative. We firmly believe that these alarming health indicators, among the worst in the world, can be reversed. However, this cannot be accomplished without your financial assistance.

We will be able to implement targeted interventions that address the pressing healthcare needs of Biafrans. Our intention is to improve healthcare access, enhance healthcare infrastructure, and ultimately contribute to the betterment of the health indicators in Biafra and Nigeria as a whole. We are committed to using these resources responsibly and effectively to bring about sustainable change in the lives of our people.

We sincerely request your financial support in realizing this vision.

Together, we can make a difference and positively impact the lives of Biafrans who continue to face immense challenges in Nigeria’s healthcare system.
